RegionBali & the Nusa Islands
Six days split between the interior and the coast, with a day out to Nusa Penida for the coastline everyone has seen and few have stood on. We keep Ubud first — the traffic is easier and the jet lag is more forgiving inland.
What you'll remember
- Tegalalang rice terraces before the tour buses
- Uluwatu at sunset with the kecak dance afterwards
- Kelingking Beach on Nusa Penida
- A Balinese cooking class in a family compound

When to go
Bali's dry season is April to October. January and February are the wettest, and the Penida crossing gets cancelled in big swell — we build a spare day into those months.
